The firm

Independent minds.
Shared purpose.

ZOAK brings together commercial judgment, scientific curiosity, and technical execution. We work closely with people building businesses that matter to them.

Our point of view

Good advice carries
an obligation to act.

A recommendation earns its value when someone can put it to work.

That principle shapes our firm. We connect strategy to the decisions, information, technology, and routines a business needs to execute. We stay involved as the work moves from a question to a plan, and from a plan to a working capability.

Our advisory and company-building practices inform each other. Working through the demands of building a business keeps our advice grounded in the choices founders and operators face.

Our partners

Different disciplines.

I.

Intellectual independence.

We test assumptions, surface tradeoffs, and make recommendations that reflect the circumstances of the business.

II.

Personal accountability.

Our partners remain close to the work. Clear decisions and direct conversations are central to how we operate.

III.

Professional discretion.

Client relationships and work in development deserve care. We discuss public examples only where disclosure is appropriate and authorized.
